I have to say the one thing on your list that I personally do not take for granted are our flags flying on every corner. Nothing gives me greater comfort than to look up and see the American flag waving in the breeze. I always feel so thankful and grateful and incredibly lucky to be able to wake up every morning and plant my feet on American soil.. We are the home of the free because of our brave and I am ever mindful.
ReplyDeleteGreat post. Thank you. :)
Never had cherry limeade, but I <3 crushed ice.
ReplyDeleteHow are sunsets different there?
I would have a very hard time coping with low water pressure- my morning shower keeps me sane.
Welcome home! I'm going to get a lemon-berry slush in your honor.
ReplyDeleteShould we assume you are really craving Cherry Limeade?
ReplyDeleteOnly some Americans--I only get to see a Sonic when we travel out of state so I NEVER take those most precious of drinks--the cherry limeade-- for granted!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having a great time--just make sure that #6 and #7 aren't happening at the same time.......just sayin...
Love Cherry Limeade!!! Love Sonic for that matter, esp. between the hours of 4PM to 6PM...drinks are half price!! Woot!!

We don't have a Sonic where I live. I feel so unAmerican right now. Must try Sonic. :)
ReplyDeleteI love chatting up friendly strangers. One of the things I love about living in a smaller city.
LOVE my shower too. :)
Sounds like you are enjoying your vaca!
I think I better go get a cherry limeade right now. It's been awhile.
ReplyDeletewhat? people don't chat you up in public bathrooms there? and no warehouse sized craft stores? it's the little things you can take for granted.
ReplyDeleteAnd ever so much more I'm sure! Enjoy every last second of those things we take for granted!
